At Portmead Primary School, we want every child to feel happy, safe and confident to be themselves. “Work hard, be kind” is at the heart of everything we do and shapes the way our school community works together.

Our curiosity-based curriculum, rooted in the Curriculum for Wales, encourages children to ask questions, explore their interests and develop a genuine love of learning. I am incredibly proud of our staff team, who are passionate, caring and committed to knowing every child well and supporting them to succeed.

Our extensive school grounds are a real strength of the school and provide wonderful opportunities for outdoor learning, sport and play. We also ensure our children are well-prepared for the future, with up-to-date resources and technology to support their learning.
